With a variety of shops, restaurants, studios, bars and more, The Vista is known as the charming and eclectic neighborhood that characterizes Columbia's art and entertainment scene. Sitting in the middle of Columbia, on the banks of the Congaree River, the neighborhood perfectly blends the historical buildings with hip and modern business owners. 

The Vista has transformed in recent years from abandoned warehouses and run down buildings into an upscale travel destination that anchors the city. With many great museums, including the South Carolina State Museum and EdVenture, the area now includes gorgeously restored historic buildings, tree-lined streets, progressive art galleries, upscale restaurants and plenty of bar options.
