McCrea's Story

After renting for a while, McCrea was ready to find a place more stable in Columbia; no more dealing with moving around or paying off someone else's property for them.

With the idea of purchasing her first home in mind she reached out to Michael DeVita on our team, scheduled an appointment to meet and go over her house buying goals. This helped give her an idea on what to expect, how to plan and strategize how to find the right home for her needs.

After seeing other homes with Michael and learning more about her likes/dislikes in homes, Michael had an idea. Around the same time, Michael met with friends who were thinking about selling their home and knew it would be a good property for McCrea to check out. After giving McCrea the details, she had the chance to check it out for herself.

It became a home that she wanted to pursue and it wasn't on the market yet (score!).

All of the details afterwords went smoothly and McCrea didn't feel any pressure during the entire process. Buying your first home can be overwhelming and filled with unknowns, so it's important to work alongside someone who doesn't focus on selling you a home, but helping you find the right property. A lot of questions came up during the process, but luckily, McCrea had someone to help guide and educate her on her options so that she felt comfortable every step of the way.

Now McCrea lives in a home that works for her lifestyle and budget. We're excited for her to enjoy making new memories in this home!
