They've met this goal by having a little something for everyone in the family. Steam Coffee & Cream
In 2019 Steam Coffee and Cream opened their doors in downtown Fountain Inn right across from the infamous fountain. They're considered to be in the towns living room and also as one of the best places to grab a cup of coffee in the area.
While the coffee shop has an amazing cup of coffee, they also have specialty drinks such as a lattes, macchiatos, flat whites, and more. If you prefer your coffee cold, don't worry because they have a great cold brew and can also make their hot drinks iced. They might be known for their coffee, but they also make delicious smoothies, frappes, and even ice cream. When it comes to food options, they have fantastic breakfast sandwiches as well as a lunch menu.
Whether it's to grab some coffee, a cool beverage, or a delicious sandwich, make sure to check out Steam Coffee and Cream next time you're in the area!

Farmhouse Tacos
RUSTIC-INDUSTRIAL STOP FOR TEX-MEX PLATES
Laurens Road has become the wonderful location for the neighborhood favorite, Farmhouse Tacos.
The owners, Chris and Katie Williamsons, launched Farmhouse Tacos in 2016 as a farm-to-table taco shop to enjoy traditional, Mexican flavors paired with Southern flair. We spoke with area manager, Woody Pack, who started with the company as a bartender.
His favorite taco is the fried chicken taco with an upcountry slaw, buttermilk slaw, and a honey jalapeno crema. They have 10 draft beers on tap which always rotate, are seasonal, and local. You'll also love their margaritas such as their regular house and the Southern margarita (peach margarita, pineapple jalapeno). The best part of it all is their 80s playlist and nostalgic arcade games which make this the best spot for getting together with friends and family.

Tipsy Taco
LET’S TACO ‘BOUT IT
Tipsy Taco has become a staple here in the Upstate. Whether you're a taco or margarita aficionado, we already know this place is on your list of places to visit (if you haven't already).

With locations in Clemson, Simpsonville, Pelham Road, Augusta Road, Greer, and many other areas, this has quickly become a wildly popular restaurant. Our team visited the Pelham road location, which was where it all started, to all get our "go-to" entrees. We love everything on their menu from the hot tamales to shrimp tacos.
For drinks, we HAD to take it upon our selves to showcase and sample different flavors from their margarita flight. I'm talking spicy, fruity, and classic flavors.

You'll love the decor from the antique furniture pieces to wall art.
The owner actually owns an antique store next door that you can checkout afterwards.

Biscuit Head
Located on the corner of S Church Street and University Ridge, Biscuit Head is one of Greenville's best known, go-to "brunch spots". There is a reason why folks will line up outside the door every weekend. It's completely worth the wait.
Originating from the vibrant city of Asheville, NC, luckily, downtown Greenville was chosen to be the first South Carolina location. Their menu pulls together a creative twist on southern cooking.
Not only will you be amazed by their unique array of "cat head" sized biscuits, they also utilize local vendors as much as possible and compost food waste. Yes, environmentally-friendly and they bring you the authentic tastes of The Carolinas 🙌🏽.
After witnessing those long lines on Saturday morning, part of our team had to come see what all the hype was about. For lunch we had the opportunity to try a few highly recommended dishes/sides such as The GreenVillain, Mimosa Fried Chicken Biscuit, coconut-stewed callaloo collards, and almost every flavor available at the jam bar. Did you know they even have Gravy Flights?
(Mimosa Fried Chicken Biscuit with a side of Fried Chicken Gravy)
(Strawberry & Arugula Salad)
One of our teammates raved over their Strawberry & Arugula Salad - it comes with biscuit croutons! Another "must-try" dish is their full breakfast: two eggs your way with two sides AND a biscuit. Pair that up with a regular or grapefruit mimosa, this truly makes for a complete brunch experience.
The service and atmosphere is always amazing! There is plenty of seating indoors, a loft area for those packed weekend mornings, and patio seating in the back courtyard. Don't forget to try a few of their daily specials (bacon, gravy, or entree of the day)! I'm serious, if you're planning to go one weekend, get there before 10 am if you can. Otherwise, it's still worth the wait!

Brick Street Cafe
Located right off of Augusta Street, Brick Street has been a local favorite for many years. Not only are they well-known for their true Southern brunch plates, but they are famously known for their wide array of cakes (better said by them, "Just eat da cake").
The menu is cafe style: tons of soups, salads + sandwiches. We'd highly recommend the ultimate grilled cheese, BBQ sandwich, or turkey sandwich. There are so many sides to choose from and they also just started serving dinner!
As far as cakes, one of their most famous is the Sweet Potato Cake. If you want to try the others, they have a Cake Walk at 12:07 pm everyday where the chefs come down with different flavors for you to pick from.
You'll love the decor from the antique furniture pieces to wall art.
The owner actually owns an antique store next door that you can checkout afterwards.
Brick Street is open Tuesday + Wednesday from 11 AM to 6 PM and Thursday-Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM and then 5:30 to 9:30 PM for dinner. Closed Sunday and Mondays.

Universal Joint
Universal Joint (nicknamed "U Joint") has become a team favorite over the year. Being in a prime location (near our office) on E Stone Avenue, we've become regulars during lunch hours.
From their inviting patio seating on a gorgeous summer day to their menu classics, you're guaranteed to combine great food with a great atmosphere!
For appetizers, the team ordered the loaded Brisket Nachos. They have an assortment of shareable options, such as pimiento cheese, universal fries, spicy egg rolls, and more!
With their weekly special menu, we ordered the classic wrap. Then dived into their well-known burgers and our go-to choices: The U Joint and Smokehouse Burger.
Universal Joint is very accommodating for any GVL foodie. There are gluten free options (such as gluten free buns for burgers) and vegetarian options (try their Black Bean patty!).
With countless outdoor tables, we especially love U Joint being a dog-friendly 🐾 option! They also have a full bar with a rotating selection of beers on tap, wine selection, and specialty cocktails.
You'll always find a nice crowd enjoying a big game or hanging out around the patio. Come see their full menu and head to E Stone Avenue for a visit!
Pro Tip: There is parking available behind the building (see parking information here).

Tacozzini
Located on Augusta street, Tacozzini is a neighborhood pub with a unique twist on tacos and pizza. They hand-press their tortillas to order and have a really special cauliflower, glutten-free crust that is flying out the doors. Owner, Amy Rinkowski, has been in the restaurant industry for decades and decided to open up a local pub in her own neighborhood.
They have a full bar with signature cocktails that have been featured in Greenville TALK magazinesuch as the Mango Habanero Margarita. We'd highly recommend the Guinness Pub Pie or Ying Yang Shrimp tacos. I kid you not, the cauliflower crust option is out of this world. It's a great environment for hanging out with the kids, date night with your special someone, a girls night out, and there are TVs by the bar to watch sporting events with the guys.
Tacozzini is open 7-days a week opening at 11 AM everyday and closing at 9 PM during the week and 10 PM during the weekends. They offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM.
