Part of what sets Sevierville apart is the fact that it's the hometown of Country Music Star Dolly Parton. She graduated from Sevier County High School before heading to Nashville to kickstart her career. But her legacy and contributions can be seen all throughout the city, including the life-size Dolly statue that sits right outside the Sevier County Courthouse.

The bronze statue debuted in 1987 not long after the opening of Dollywood nearby. It portrays Dolly as a young woman, perched on a rock while casually strumming her guitar. Sculptor Jim Gray chose to show the star beaming her signature smile.

It's a popular stop for country music fans and couldn't be easier to find and take a selfie. When you're driving into town, just follow the signs and make your way into the square.

Address: 125 Court Ave, Sevierville, TN 37862
