Stephen and Molly bought this home in March 2019. They had already lived in Elmwood and loved the area, but they knew they were going to need more space.
After knowing one of our agents and hearing about our team, the Bateman's scheduled to meet with Andrew Thomas to begin strategizing a game plan moving forward.
They spent time going over the "must-haves" in their next home so they were all on the same page and Andrew provided a layout of how the buying process would take place; with this being Molly's first home purchase.
Later, Andrew helped them with navigating various properties and got them under contract with the home they really wanted.
What helped make a stressful process more bearable was the responsive communication and professionalism of their agent. There are so many emotions while selecting the next home you will be spending X amount of years living in. It's important to feel comfortable, as the Bateman's did, with your Realtor to where you can be honest about homes. The Bateman's felt this experience was different than how they typically can be; there was never any pressure. Andrew was in their corner and wanted to make sure they got the house they wanted, as much as they did.
They were able to close and move into their new home in the Spring; a home they see themselves living in for the next 75 years. What they love about Elmwood Park is the close proximity to their favorite coffee shop, which is within a 100 yards from their home, and ability to bike ride through the Vista.
At night, during baseball season, they get to enjoy fireworks from the Fireflies stadium conveniently from their house.

Andrew wanted the house for them as much as they did. Helped them with decision making. There were different people with different expertise stepping in from scheduling inspections to explaining paperwork.
