Buying Their First Home in a Pandemic

Olivia and Nick were ready to start looking for their first home this Spring. They knew when the time was right to start meeting with a Realtor to go over what they were looking for and talk through the process, they called up Michael DeVita.

Michael was there to be a resource for them that had access to more information on new listings and ensured they would successfully close once the right home came along.

As soon as it did, they were under contract. Unfortunately, this is when the COVID-19 pandemic started taking into effect and the government issued a state-wide order for only essential workers to be out.

As Olivia mentioned, buying a home in general can be an anxious and overwhelming process. There are always things to be prepared for and things out of your control. 

Michael spent time talking with Olivia and Nick to make sure all of their questions were answered, they were updated the entire way through the process, and everything that needed to be done (within the timeframe they had until closing) was scheduled and completed.

Now, Olivia and Nick have enjoyed the first month of living in their very own home in the Forest Acres/Druid Hills area!
