Having spent many summer days as a child looking at houses with my mother in the rapidly-expanding suburbs of Atlanta, I became obsessed with houses and the idea of “home,” and suspected that as an adult I would become a real estate agent. As I got older, there was always one thing holding me back from pursuing real estate: I couldn’t find a community where I felt like I belonged. After moving to Columbia in 2015, I finally found a place that really felt like home.
The road from the suburbs of Atlanta to Columbia was long and paved with a myriad of experiences, mostly in sales. Prior to coming to The ART of Real Estate, I was a middle school art teacher, and, most recently, the Volunteer Coordinator for Transitions Homeless Center. Working closely with those dedicated to making a difference in our community afforded me the opportunity to learn more about what makes Columbia great - the people!
While I am confident that I have all of the skills that make me a great agent, such as patience, persistence, diligence, and flexibility, I also have a fierce love of the spaces in which people conduct their lives. As a seller, I will help you to make your house desirable to a variety of clients in order to get it sold. Buyers can be assured to have someone who will work hard in finding you a space that works for your life and negotiating to get you your desired home. Regardless of whether buying or selling, I will work my hardest to ensure that you have the best experience that The ART of Real Estate can provide.
In my mind, houses are everywhere, but my goal is to help you or your loved ones find “home,” whether that is buying here in Columbia or selling and going elsewhere!
