Before going back to school at the University of South Carolina in 2016, I got the opportunity shortly after high school to work for a company that had me traveling Monday-Friday 46 weeks out of the year. I loved it, and was able to see places I never thought I would. But I knew it wasn’t sustainable long term, so I decided to pursue a degree in Communications at USC.
It took a few years to figure out my path, but come 2nd semester Junior year I started filming with the Church I was a part of, Midtown Fellowship, and quickly became interested in the art of storytelling through filmmaking. I saved up money, bought a camera, and started making content. It became apparent shortly after that I knew filmmaking was what I wanted to do. I graduated and quickly was able to get an opportunity at the ART of Real Estate!
I love Columbia, and most of all love being able to showcase and promote it while meeting new people. The variety through which I get to promote our city really does keep me excited about our work, and I’m just grateful I get to be a part of it! I hope to grow at the ART team, and bring new ideas and excitement to what we do everyday.
